Thing 23 we have taken the survey. 23 Things was very difficult to keep up with everyday, but it has been the most interesting project we have tackled. It has taught these old dogs many new tricks. Now trying to remember what we have learned is another story. We will do our best! We are sure that the things we were taught will also be helpful to our patrons as well as ourselves. Thanks to our director Ginny and NEFLIN for keeping us up dated with the new technology being offered. We can hardly believe we finished it by the dead line!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it looks like our work is cut out for us. We will try to find enough time to blog as often as possible. But you know "Rain, sleet or snow the bookmobile Must Go. "

Thing 21 is a wonderfull tool for any one that has a dead line on a project they are working on.

Thing 20 was very interesting to us. But we think that nothing will ever totally take the place of a REAL book in your hand. Also with the blessing of having a library to be able to borrow a book & not have to buy it. It may prove to be to expensive for the libraries to go to hand held equipment. So our guess is that books are the best & will remain the best!!!!!!!!

We have used Thing 19. We have taken classes on Web Junction & have watched videos on Library 2.0 group. They were both very helpfull to us.

Thing 18 LaDonies & Joyce

We are familiar with Face Book . LaDonies 's granddaughter has an account & shares it with her all the time ! Joyce's daughter has signed her up and she goes on it once in a while. Her husband also has an account & keeps up with his preacher friends & uses it as a wind down time mostly after preaching to fellowship with them.

BKM WHEELERS are off and at it this morning. The stops today are in Bradford and Union counties, one of our stops especially keeps us hopping with about 20 to 25 patrons in a 2 hr time period. It's just amazing at some of the people we get to meet and visit with on the bookmobile. It is a pleasure to be able to help them find the material they are needing. Well its on the road again. Ya'll have a wonderful day and stay dry in all this rainy weather we are having.
